Overseasidol.com — Actors Fujimoto Kodai dan Kan Hideyoshi will co-star in the upcoming drama “Shuugakuryokou de Nakayokunai Group ni Hairimashita”.
This new boys love drama set to premiere on ABC TV on October 18, airing every Saturday night.
Based on the novel by Inoki Uzura, the story unfolds as a school romance highlighting stark social differences.
The plot follows Asahi Hioki, an ordinary high school student separated from his close friends after a class shuffle.
During the school trip group selection, he is invited by a former middle school classmate to join a group of four handsome and popular boys known as the “Four Kings”.
Among them is Tsukasa Watarai, the top of the school’s social hierarchy, who develops a deep, possessive interest in the pure-hearted Asahi.
The other “Four Kings” members are portrayed by Masaya Sakuragi (Genin wa Jibun ni Aru.) as the cool youngest member Naoya Morisaki, Ayuta Fukuda (DXTEEN) as the cheerful mood-maker Haruki Nakazato, and Kairi Shimizu as the bright, outgoing Hayato Hotta.
The drama is penned by Subaru Yamashita and directed by Takehiro Shindo, Hirokazu Fujisawa, Takuya Hasegawa, and Goro Yasumi.
