The film will feature Yamanaka Jyutaro and Takamatsu Aloha in the lead roles, portraying two rival high school leaders whose complicated relationship turns into a heartfelt love story.
The story follows Kamei Madoka, the charismatic leader of Kouzakura High School.
Known for his bright personality and unbeatable fighting skills, he decides to leave behind both fighting and romance after a life-changing event.
However, his world shifts when Mitsuru Sato, the silent and mysterious leader of Shiroiwa High School, reappears despite their truce from two years earlier.
Their paths intertwine even more when Mitsuru moves into the second floor of Madoka’s grandmother’s candy shop.
As they spend time together, Madoka begins to see Mitsuru’s kindness and strength.
What unfolds is a unique blend of clumsy yet sincere emotions, heart-pounding action, and touching romance.
Directed by Fuga Yaegashi with a screenplay by Ryo Kawasaki, the film is adapted from Nao’s manga published by BeSTAR Comics.
Distributed by SDP, JUNAI JOTO! is scheduled for nationwide release in Japan in 2026.
