A devastating fire at a beer restaurant in Bangkok’s Lat Phrao district early on July 13 has claimed the life of Breeze, the female vocalist of Thai band Tossakan.
Several other members of the band were also caught up in the tragedy.
In a statement shared on Facebook, the band’s management confirmed Breeze’s passing.
She was also the girlfriend of the band’s leader, making the loss especially heartbreaking for those close to her and for the band’s fans.
The band’s male vocalist remains missing and has not yet been contacted.
Keyboardist Kwang is also still unreachable, and their conditions have not been officially confirmed.
Meanwhile, drummer Bew suffered serious injuries in the fire and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Doctors continue to monitor his condition.
The band’s management urged the public not to spread unverified information while authorities continue their investigation.
They asked fans to wait for official updates regarding the missing members and the overall situation.
According to the latest reports, the fire has claimed 27 lives, including 9 men and 18 women, while 18 others were injured and transported to hospitals across Bangkok. (Overseasidol.com)
