KAWAII LAB., the popular idol label operated by ASOBISYSTEM Co., Ltd., has officially launched the KAWAII LAB. Asia Global Audition 2026.
Marking its first large-scale regional audition, the project aims to discover the next generation of kawaii idols across Asia.
The audition will be held in Indonesia, South Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam, with trusted local partners supporting talent development in each country.
Applications are open to female candidates aged 12 to 22 who currently live in each country.
Previous idol experience is not required, although it will be considered an advantage.
Applicants under the age of 18 must obtain parental consent before joining the audition.
Successful participants will have the opportunity to develop their careers in both local country and Japan.
The project reflects KAWAII LAB.’s vision of bringing Harajuku’s unique idol culture to audiences around the world.
KAWAII LAB. is home to several of Japan’s fastest-growing idol groups, including FRUITS ZIPPER, CANDY TUNE, SWEET STEADY, and CUTIE STREET.
Through this audition, the company hopes to discover new stars who can follow in the footsteps of these successful groups.
