Thai actor and singer Billkin Putthipong has shared new details about his upcoming movie project, The Untitled Snooker.
He revealing that he is learning snooker from scratch to fully prepare for his role as a professional player.
Billkin admitted that he had little experience with the sport before accepting the project.
To portray the character realistically, he has been studying everything from cue handling and shooting techniques to game strategy.
He has also been watching professional tournaments to better understand how top players compete.
He explained that the script is still being finalized, but the film is not simply about snooker.
Instead, it uses the sport as the backdrop for a meaningful life story, making thorough preparation even more important for his performance.
Since filming is expected to begin next year, Billkin Putthipong joked that he still has plenty of time to train.
He laughed when asked whether he would become a snooker fan after filming, saying it is still far too early to answer that question.
Reflecting on expectations following his previous successful projects, Billkin said he does not want to put unnecessary pressure on himself.
