The actor passed away after falling from a building. Authorities have ruled out any criminal involvement.
The studio’s statement read, “May the departed rest in peace, and may the living find strength,”.
Earlier, Chinese entertainment media reported details of the incident. Yu Menglong had attended a dinner gathering with friends in Beijing on the evening of September 10.
He returned to his room in the early morning hours and locked the door. Hours later, his body was found downstairs by a passerby walking a dog.
Police confirmed that the case was not criminal, and further investigation is still ongoing.
Yu Menglong was born on June 15, 1988, in Urumqi, Xinjiang. From a young age, he loved photography, music, and dreamed of becoming a director.
He began his career through talent competitions before gaining fame as an actor. He rose to prominence through hit dramas such as “Go Princess Go” and “Eternal Love”.
He was also active in music, releasing several albums and EPs. Up until 2025, he continued to star in major productions, including “Hidden Master” dan “FEUD”.
