The incident took place on the highway and unfolded within seconds.
According to her post, a man dressed in black and wearing gloves shattered the front passenger window, likely using a glass-breaking device.
At the time, Dai was seated in the back while her makeup artist occupied the front passenger seat.
The thief grabbed the artist’s bag and fled the scene, leaving her injured by broken glass on her leg.
Fortunately, the makeup artist had kept their passport on them, preventing further complications.
However, bank cards and expensive cosmetics inside the stolen bag were lost.
Shaken by the incident, Dai Yanni urged fellow travelers to be extremely cautious when abroad.
