Thai T-Pop boy group FAVIQ has officially announced their first fandom name: VI8ES (pronounced “Vibes”).
The announcement was made live today, Monday (July 20), at 6:00 PM Thailand time via their official TikTok account.
The name VI8ES comes from the phrase “Freaking Awesome Vibes”, representing the fun atmosphere, smiles, and happiness that FAVIQ shares with fans every time they meet.
The letter “B” was replaced with the number “8” to honor the group’s eight members.
“From now on, we want to call all of you ‘VI8ES’,” the official FAVIQ X account stated.
FAVIQ is an eight-member boy group under GNEST (a subsidiary of GMM Music).
They debuted on May 20, 2026, with the digital single “Your FAV”.
The group name FAVIQ itself combines “Favorite” and “Freaking Awesome Vibes”, reflecting their goal of becoming everyone’s favorite with positive energy and enjoyable vibes.
