JKT48 has officially announced that Gendis Mayrannisa from JKT48 Team Dream has resigned from the group.
In a statement released on July 24, 2026, the management confirmed that Gendis had submitted her resignation.
After discussions with the relevant parties, JKT48 Operation Team decided to accept her decision.
As a result, effective July 25, 2026, Gendis will no longer continue her activities as a member of JKT48.
The management also thanked fans for their continued support and asked for their understanding regarding the decision.
The announcement came as a surprise because Gendis had recently participated in JKT48’s temporary theater performances in Surabaya and Yogyakarta, showing that she remained active with the group until shortly before the announcement.
Earlier this year, Gendis returned to group activities in May 2026 after serving a management suspension that had been in effect since February 2026.
