GMMTV released a supplementary statement on July 28, 2026, providing an update on the incident that occurred during the closing event of the International Novel Festival 2026 in Bangkok.

The company confirmed that the attendee and the staff member involved have reached an amicable settlement.

According to the statement, both parties had previously filed criminal complaints following the incident.

After meeting face-to-face on July 27, they exchanged explanations, gained a better understanding of the situation, and agreed to resolve the dispute peacefully.

As part of the agreement, both sides have withdrawn their criminal complaints and will no longer pursue any legal action or hold each other legally responsible for the incident.
