The upcoming Hong Kong drama Under the Rainbow has officially announced its premiere date. Produced by MakerVille, the series will debut on July 29, 2026, on ViuTV.
The drama will air every Monday through Friday from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Hong Kong time).
Presented in an anthology format, each episode tells a different story while exploring themes of relationships, memories, and the passage of time.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic Choi Hung Estate (Rainbow Estate), which is preparing for redevelopment, the series reflects on the emotional connections, life experiences, and farewells of people living through a changing community.
Under the Rainbow is directed by Lau Wai Hang, with scripts written by Au Wing Yiu, Lo Lok Wing, and Wong Tin Shing. The series is produced by Wong Tsz Wun and Kwok Ka Man.
