Her passing comes just days after her husband, renowned martial arts choreographer Tang Chia, tragically died after falling from a building on June 23. He was 88 years old.
According to local media reports, Tang Jia had been deeply saddened by his wife’s prolonged hospitalization.
He had previously expressed his desire to pass away with her. On the day of his death, he was scheduled to visit a law firm to finalize his will.
However, he made a heartbreaking decision before leaving.
Xue Ni rose to fame as a martial arts actress and became a prominent figure in Hong Kong cinema.
She and Tang Chia met in 1966 during the filming of The Legend of Wonder Lady”, which marked the beginning of their lifelong partnership both on and off screen.
