According to the court’s ruling, the defendants were found guilty of spreading misinformation that damaged his reputation.
The case originated from comments made during a livestream, where the defendants allegedly made unverified claims regarding Jia Nailiang’s sexual orientation.
These statements led to public misunderstanding and negatively impacted his public image.
After reviewing the case, the court determined that the remarks constituted defamation and infringed upon the actor’s right to reputation.
The ruling ordered the defendants to issue a public apology and pay compensation totaling 10,000 yuan, covering emotional damages and legal expenses.
However, despite the ruling taking legal effect, one of the defendants has yet to fulfill the obligation to apologize.
As a result, Jia Nailiang has formally applied for court enforcement to ensure compliance with the judgment.
