Overseasidol.com — Japanese idol group King & Prince has officially announced the release of their upcoming project, “So Honey EP,” scheduled to drop on September 2, 2026.
This marks a significant milestone in their career, as it will be the group’s first-ever EP released in CD format.
“So Honey EP” will feature a collection of love songs in various styles, highlighting the group’s signature musical identity.
The central theme of the EP is “Bitter or Sweet” inspired by the lyrics of the title track “So Honey”.
Phrases such as “like or dislike” and “bitter or sweet” reflect the emotional complexities often found in relationships.
The announcement coincides with the group’s 8th debut anniversary on May 23.
To celebrate the occasion, King & Prince also surprised fans by releasing 78 previously unavailable tracks on digital platforms.
These include B-side songs and album tracks that are now accessible worldwide through streaming and download services.
