Chinese actor Li Yunrui has taken legal action in a defamation case against his hater.
According to information published on the Qichacha platform, the Jianghan District People’s Court in Wuhan, Hubei Province, has officially issued a public court notice regarding the lawsuit.
The notice states that the court has served the defendant, identified by the surname Liao, with a copy of the complaint, a court summons, a notice to respond, and other legal documents through a public announcement in accordance with legal procedures.
Under the court’s regulations, the documents will be considered officially served 30 days after the announcement is published.
Following the completion of the evidence submission period, the hearing has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. local time on the third day after the evidence period ends at the Jianghan District People’s Court in Wuhan.
If the defendant fails to appear at the scheduled hearing, the court may proceed with the trial and issue a default judgment in accordance with Chinese law. (Overseasidol.com)
