The upcoming Chinese workplace comedy “Make Zhonghe Great Again” has officially released a brand-new trailer along with a new promotional poster on July 21.
The production team also confirmed that the film will premiere as scheduled on August 7, 2026.
Serving as the sequel to the successful “Johnny Keep Walking!”, the film once again explores workplace life through satire and comedy.
The newly released trailer highlights the partnership between Zhang Ruoyun and Bai Ke, who team up to tackle common office problems.
Zhang Ruoyun plays Liu Ben, an energetic team leader at Zhonghe Group who believes he is destined for success.
Bai Ke reprises his role as Ma Jie, a laid-back employee who simply wants a peaceful working life.
Together, they form the “Liu-Ma Duo” with the shared goal of earning promotions while challenging unhealthy workplace culture.
The film humorously portrays familiar office struggles, including excessive overtime, unrealistic performance targets, endless meetings, and blame-shifting among colleagues.
By blending satire with comedy, the story aims to resonate with office workers while delivering plenty of laughs.
Several cast members from the first film, including Da Peng, Zhuang Dafei, and Sun Yizhou, return for the sequel.
