Overseasidol.com — Chinese LGBT icon, Na Yina has once again drawn public attention after authorities in Xiangcheng District, revoked a commercial performance permit linked to her.

The decision, widely circulated by multiple media outlets, quickly sparked discussions online.

Shortly after news of the permit cancellation surfaced, netizens noticed that several of Na Yina’s Douyin accounts could no longer be followed.

All videos had been cleared, and her profile no longer appeared in search results on the platform.

However, her accounts on other social media platforms remain accessible, with videos still available for viewing.

Some online users have also claimed that she may have opened a new account on an overseas video-sharing platform.

On February 12, the official website of the Xiangcheng District Government published a notice from the Administrative Approval Bureau announcing the revocation of a previously approved commercial performance license granted to Beijing Yimiao Culture Media Co., Ltd.

The notice stated that the scheduled performer, Na Yina, whose real name is Zhai Geying, was classified as an artist with misconduct.

According to Article 8 of the Industry Self-Discipline Management Measures for Performing Artists, individuals with serious violations are prohibited from participating in commercial performances.

As a result, the approved performance license was officially withdrawn.

Public records show that Na Yina was born on July 17, 1967, in Zhongxiang, Jingmen, Hubei Province. She is known as a singer and short-video content creator.

In November 2022, she released the song “Love Like Fire,” which went viral online, inspiring numerous covers and ranking on major music streaming platforms.

Before gaining fame under the name Na Yina, she operated on short-video platforms under the persona “Russian Nana” Using AI filters and special effects, she portrayed herself as a middle-aged Russian woman and claimed to be of mixed Chinese-Russian heritage.

This identity, combined with patriotic-themed content, helped her attract a large following.

During live-stream sessions, she sold products marketed as “Russian specialties,” including chocolate and honey.

Later investigations revealed that the products were domestically produced, leading to allegations of consumer deception.
