Thai actor Phuwin Tangsakyuen has addressed the long-standing belief that he is a spoiled rich kid.
In a recent interview, he admitted that many people see him that way, but insisted the image does not reflect his real personality.
Phuwin explained that he prefers a simple and practical lifestyle. For him, comfort is always more important than luxury.
He even joked that compared to fellow actor Pond Naravit, he considers himself the more down-to-earth person.
He shared a story from the beginning of his career with his current manager.
When she offered him several upscale restaurants to choose from, Phuwin surprised her by selecting a small restaurant near Chulalongkorn University because it felt more comfortable and practical.
The actor also revealed that he regularly uses Bangkok’s Transum public transportation.
While some fans are surprised to see him commuting that way, he said the reason is simple, it is much faster than sitting in the city’s heavy traffic.
His practical mindset also extends to coffee. Instead of waiting in cafés, Phuwin prefers buying instant coffee at 7-Eleven because convenience matters more than the café experience.
He also laughed at the assumption that he is always on a strict diet. According to Phuwin Tangsakyuen, he actually loves food and is not a picky eater. (Overseasidol.com)
