China’s Shijiazhuang Passenger Transport Section released an official statement on July 26 regarding the controversy involving Li Quanzhe, a member of Yuehua NEXT and Loong9, over allegations that he occupied another passenger’s first-class seat.

According to the railway operator, the seat assignments on the train tickets remained unchanged from the time they were issued until the journey was completed.

The statement comes after the event organizer and the artist’s management previously claimed they had not received any notice of a seat change before departure and attributed the incident to a ticketing system issue.

The controversy gained widespread attention after online posts alleged that Li Quanzhe sat in another passenger’s reserved first-class seat and did not immediately move.

Reports also claimed that his assistant asked the ticket holder to switch seats, saying that only one stop remained on the journey.

Following the incident, the event organizer and Loong9’s management issued a clarification.

They explaining that the train tickets had been arranged by the organizer and that the seating issue resulted from an unexpected ticketing system problem.

They also apologized for the inconvenience caused.  (Overseasidol.com)
