Taiwanese singer and actor Show Lo has officially denied rumors claiming that he appeared in The Mermaid 2.
Through a social media story posted on July 15, 2026, he clarified that he was never part of the film and urged the public not to believe false reports.
In his post, Show shared screenshots of several news reports linking him to the movie before responding with a clear statement.
Maintaining his signature lighthearted tone, he thanked the media for their attention while emphasizing that he never acted in The Mermaid 2.
“I never appeared in The Mermaid 2. Thank you to the media friends for your concern,” he wrote.
His clarification came after online rumors claimed that his personal situation had caused parts of the film to be scrapped and reshot.
