Overseasidol.com — More than three years have passed since the tragic death of Thai actress Tangmo Nida, yet the case continues to draw public attention.
Today, officials at Thailand’s Department of Special Investigation (DSI) confirmed that they received five large boxes of new evidence from Tangmo’s mother, Panida, and academic Panthep.
According to investigators, nearly 90% of the case file has been completed.
Only a few key pieces of evidence remain under review, including four photographs provided by witnesses and civil groups.
These photos have been sent to the forensic science institute to verify whether they were altered.
In addition, Tangmo’s mobile phone data is undergoing re-examination to cross-check with the testimonies of 52 witnesses.
Investigators expect to revisit the scene in early October and aim to finalize the case file by the end of the month.
During the submission of the documents, Tangmo’s mother expressed her deep sorrow. She said that even after three years, she misses her daughter every day.
On September 13, Tangmo’s birthday, she will perform merit-making ceremonies in remembrance.
She believes Tangmo rests in peace, but as a mother, she vowed to fight for justice until the truth is revealed.
