Overseasidol.com — On September 13, Tiffany Tang attended the parallel forum of the 2nd Golden Panda Awards, themed Ecological Reshaping: Development and Challenges of the Film and Television Industry.
During the forum, she shared her views on the rise of short dramas. Tiffany said short dramas show how the industry keeps pace with the times and respond to audience demands with diverse choices.
She added that the popularity of high-quality short dramas is a reminder and motivation for long-form creators to deliver more engaging and refined works.
Tiffany Tang emphasized that short and long dramas are simply different forms.
“Competition means progress. A thriving industry must embrace diversity. Some stories need to be told briefly, while others require a slow and detailed narrative,” she said.
Winning Best Actress in the TV category at this year’s Golden Panda Awards for her role as Wang Xiaojie in Blossoms, Tang Yan was asked if she worried the role would become a label.
She replied, “No. Miss Wang is a role I nurtured with heart. Every character has its vitality. Miss Wang will grow, and I will grow as well,”.
