Overseasidol.com — Chinese actor Xu Kai recently celebrated his 31st birthday on March 5, but during a live broadcast with fans, he unexpectedly shared a shocking medical experience that left many viewers stunned.
During the livestream, Xu Kai initially talked about celebrating his birthday by going on a mountain hike.
However, the conversation soon took a surprising turn when he revealed a painful incident he experienced during a minor facial surgery.
The actor explained that he once underwent a procedure to remove a cyst on the left side of his face.
Even before the operation, he was already feeling nervous because he admitted he has a condition that makes him prone to dizziness or fainting when seeing needles.
What made the situation worse was that the anesthesia reportedly stopped working properly halfway through the procedure.
As a result, Xu Kai had to endure the pain while doctors continued stitching the wound on his face.
According to him, he remained fully conscious as the doctor placed eight stitches on his face.
Xu Kai described the pain at that moment as “unbearable” saying the experience became one of the most frightening medical memories he has ever had.
Fortunately, the recovery process went smoothly. Xu Kai shared that he is not someone who easily develops scars, and thanks to the doctor’s skillful work, the surgical mark on his face has healed very well and is now barely visible.
This was a huge relief for fans, considering Xu Kai is widely admired for his handsome appearance.
