Ruihe Entertainment has released an official statement defending its artist Zi Yu (real name Zheng Peng) after months of online rumors questioning his legal record.
Rumors suggest that the artist was once detained at a police station.
On July 27, 2026, the company also published two official government-issued documents to support its response.
The first document is a Certificate of No Criminal Record issued by the Tongzhou Branch of the Beijing Public Security Bureau.
Covering the period from July 6, 2002, to July 27, 2026, the certificate confirms that no criminal record was found under Zi Yu’s name.
The agency also released a Personal Public Credit Information Report issued by the Beijing Public Credit Information Center.
The report shows zero records related to administrative penalties, judicial decisions, serious credit violations, or other public misconduct.
According to Ruihe Entertainment, the company has preserved evidence against those responsible for spreading false information, defamation, and malicious speculation online.
It stated that legal action, including both civil and criminal proceedings where applicable, will be pursued against individuals or entities found to have infringed upon the artist’s rights. (Overseasidol.com)
