Overseasidol.com — On Qixi Festival, known as Chinese Valentine’s Day, South Korean musician and DJ Koo moved fans once again with his quiet yet heartfelt gesture.
He was spotted visiting Jinbaoshan Cemetery, where his late wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu (Big S), was laid to rest.
Eyewitnesses reported that Koo arrived on his motorcycle, carrying a simple breakfast of bread and black coffee the same meal Barbie often enjoyed during her lifetime.
At times, he is said to bring seaweed soup, a meaningful Korean dish that reflects both care and remembrance.
A close friend of the Hsu family revealed that Koo has not decided when he will return to South Korea.
For now, he wishes to stay in Taiwan until Barbie’s memorial statue is completed at the cemetery.
Even when invited by Barbie’s sister, TV personality Dee Hsu, and their mother to join family gatherings, Goo Jun-yeop has politely declined, explaining that he is still deeply grieving and not ready for social occasions.
His devotion has touched many netizens, who praised his sincerity and enduring love.
Though Barbie Hsu is no longer by his side, DJ Koo’s visits to her resting place show that their love remains unbroken. On this year’s Qixi Festival, his quiet act of remembrance became a powerful symbol of loyalty and eternal affection.
