Overseasidol.com — Recent Taiwanese media reports claimed that actor Derek Chang experienced a strained friendship with his close friend Greg Hsu following Hsu’s rising popularity.
The rumors even suggested that Zhang was treated as if he were invisible at actress Tiffany Hsu’s wedding, allegedly being ignored by actor Nash Zhang.
Addressing the issue, Hsu spoke to the media on December 13 during a brand event.
He firmly denied the allegations, stating that the reports were highly exaggerated and completely untrue.
“I’ve seen the news, and I honestly think it was written in an over-the-top way. None of that actually happened,” he said.
Hsu added that the situation was exactly as Derek Chang had previously explained nothing more than baseless speculation.
He expressed frustration over what he described as fabricated stories, urging media outlets to stop spreading false narratives.
“It’s completely made up. I don’t know if this was done for attention or clicks, but creating stories out of thin air is not right,” he emphasized.
His statement effectively shuts down rumors of a falling-out between the two actors, reaffirming that their friendship remains intact.
