The president of actor Li Hongyi’s official fan club has officially resigned following controversy over how the actor’s studio handled allegations raised by entertainment blogger Li Dengke.
Shortly afterward, in the early hours of July 29, Hongyi’s studio released a public apology, acknowledging shortcomings in its communication with fans.
In the resignation statement, the fan club president said they had devoted significant time and energy over the past month to monitoring online discussions and responding to negative rumors.
The ongoing situation reportedly took both a physical and emotional toll, leading to the decision to step down.
Following the announcement, the fan club president’s social media account was voluntarily closed and is no longer accessible.
The statement also criticized the artist’s management, saying fans should not be treated as supporters only when they are needed during difficult situations and then overlooked afterward.
The controversy began after entertainment blogger Li Dengke made vague claims during a livestream regarding Li Hongyi’s condition while filming.

Just one day later, the situation changed when Li Dengke publicly expressed support for Hongyi’s new drama, Princess Zhaoyang, while the studio removed its legal warning and reportedly reached a settlement without further public explanation.
