The statement was shared by the company’s senior executive and manager, Mani Fok.
According to the statement, Nicholas Tse and his family wished to handle Patrick’s funeral arrangements privately and respectfully.
However, false claims regarding the veteran actor’s cause of death and the distribution of his estate have recently circulated across social media.
The company said that individuals without accurate knowledge of the situation have fabricated stories and spread misleading and malicious information.
It added that these rumors have caused public misunderstanding and triggered unfair criticism toward Nicholas Tse and his family.
Emperor Entertainment emphasized that Patrick Tse’s reputation, privacy, and personal dignity remain protected by law even after his passing.
Nicholas Tse’s agency urged anyone spreading false information to stop immediately and remove all related posts and reports containing inaccurate claims.
The statement also called on the public to treat the late actor with respect and kindness rather than engaging in speculation.
