Hong Kong actor and singer Pakho Chau has spoken publicly about Shawn Yue’s recent divorce announcement.
During a media interview, Chau revealed that he had already reached out to his longtime friend to express his support.
According to Pakho, their conversation was brief and meaningful. Instead of exchanging long messages, the two simply replied to each other with emojis.
Chau shared that Shawn Yue also responded with an emoji, adding that it was enough to understand each other’s feelings.
He explained that sometimes a single emoji says everything, and close friends do not always need many words to communicate.
His comments highlighted the strong friendship the two have built over the years.
Despite the difficult circumstances, Pakho Chau believes they fully understood each other’s support through the simple exchange.
On July 20, Shawn Yue announced that he and his wife, Sarah Wang, had mutually agreed to end their marriage.
