Hong Kong actor Shawn Yue has officially announced that he and his wife, Sarah Wang have ended their marriage.
The news was shared through a public statement released on July 20.
In his statement, Shawn Yue said the decision was made peacefully and with mutual respect.
He asked the public to respect their life choices and emphasized that although they are no longer husband and wife, they will always remain a family.
Shawn Yue and Sarah Wang confirmed their relationship in 2016 before registering their marriage in 2017.
During their marriage, the couple welcomed two children, a son and a daughter.
Rumors about marital problems had circulated for several years.
In 2023, Shawn deleted all of his Instagram posts and shared the message “Reset and restart” sparking speculation about his relationship.
In early 2024, Taiwanese media also reported that his Instagram account only kept posts related to his children, while photos of his wife had been removed.
Although the couple had previously denied divorce rumors by sharing family moments, they have now confirmed that they have mutually agreed to end their marriage.
