Overseasidol.com — Japan’s largest-scale survival audition program, ‘PRODUCE 101 JAPAN’, has officially extended the application deadline for its fourth season, titled ‘PRODUCE 101 JAPAN New World’.
The final cut-off is now set for September 7, 2025, at 23:59:59.
Announced in July, the new season carries the theme of “Creating a Global Boy Group to Open a New World”.
For the first time in the series, the audition is open to participants worldwide regardless of nationality or origin, with only a few regions excluded.
The program will be streamed globally and include worldwide fan voting.
Applications have already been received from across Asia—including Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore, as well as from countries like the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Anyone can apply, from singers, dancers, and models to actors and complete beginners.
The show also launched a special campaign on Instagram (@produce101japan_official) called “101 SCOUT”, where fans can recommend their favorites.
Recommended candidates will receive a “101 SCOUT Badge”, and some fans will win exclusive tickets to attend the live evaluation.
