Overseasidol.com — On July 26, Shania Gracia, the captain of JKT48’s 3rd generation, officially announced her graduation from the popular idol group.
The announcement took place during the FULL HOUSE concert at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
After 11 years with JKT48, Gracia has been more than just an idol performing on stage.
She has grown alongside the fans, evolving from a teenager into a mature figure, while remaining a symbol of dedication for the group.
In her heartfelt speech, Gracia shared a message that moved the audience.
“I want all of you to know, this is the reason I’ve held on this far. I truly want to be part of this history.
I want, when you see the original theater setlist after this long wait, for you to say, ‘Gracia was here, Gracia fought for this.’ I have given my all for JKT48.
This original theater setlist will also be my final tribute as a member and captain of JKT48,” she said.
Following her announcement, the stage was filled with emotion as fellow core members of JKT48 embraced Gracia warmly, marking a heartfelt moment of farewell and gratitude.
