Overseasidol.com — On February 10, STU48 first-generation member Ishida Chiho announced her graduation from the group during the “STU48 SHOWCASE LIVE! 1st～5th” held at Spotify O-WEST in Tokyo.
Toward the end of the concert, Ishida addressed the audience with an important announcement.
She revealed that she would be graduating from STU48 and will hold her graduation concert on May 31 at Kanadevia Hall, formerly known as Tokyo Dome City Hall.
Expressing gratitude to both the group and fans, she promised to dedicate her remaining time to giving back as much as possible.
Her announcement was met with a mixture of surprise and heartfelt applause from the crowd.
Ishida joined STU48 in 2017 as a first-generation member.
Since the release of the debut single “Kurayami,” she has consistently been selected as a senbatsu member for every single, establishing herself as one of the group’s core figures.
Her steady presence in the main lineup has made her an essential part of STU48’s history.
Ahead of her graduation, STU48 will release a new single titled “Suki Sugite Naku” on March 4, marking Ishida’s final participation in a group single.
The release will include her solo track “Mirai e Tsuzuku Mono yo” as a coupling song across all editions.
