Overseasidol.com — On August 18, Chinese actor Zi Yu and his team faced a shocking incident upon arriving in Beijing.
A group of obsessive fans (sasaengs) dangerously chased them in cars, blocking the road and creating chaos.
The situation escalated when Zi Yu’s manager stepped out to stop them, only to be nearly hit as one sasaeng deliberately accelerated.
Thankfully, no one was injured. But after the failed attempt, the sasaengs switched to verbal abuse and even disrupted traffic, turning public roads into a “stalking arena”.
Furious, Zi Yu grabbed one sasaeng’s phone and filmed the scene himself.
In the video, he can be heard shouting: “This is a crime!” The clip went viral, with many netizens siding with him. One comment read: “If it were me, I’d smash their car,”.
Public opinion was divided. Some argued Ziyu shouldn’t have reacted physically, while many defended him.
