Overseasidol.com — CGM48 has officially announced the debut song for its 5th Generation members during the second day of the BNK48CGM48 On Cloud 9 Festival on June 1, 2026.
The announcement quickly became one of the highlights of the event and generated excitement among fans.
The selected debut song is “Kibou Ressha”, a Thai-language adaptation of the title track from NGT48’s 11th single of the same name.
The song will serve as the first official performance project for CGM48’s newest generation, introducing them to fans through a well-known 48 Group title.
The 5th Generation lineup consists of Chifa, Lewlew, Namphet, Punpon, and Tara.
Through “Kibou Ressha,” the five members will begin their official activities as part of CGM48 and bring fresh energy to the Chiang Mai-based idol group.
In addition to being the debut song for the new generation, “Kibou Ressha” has also been confirmed as the coupling track, or B-side, of CGM48’s upcoming 11th single, “Koi Tsun Jatta”.
