Overseasidol.com — Japanese idol group Nogizaka46 has officially announced its 41st single titled “Saigo ni Kaidan wo Kakeagatta no wa Itsuda?”.
The single is scheduled for release on April 8, 2026, and will feature a 16-member senbatsu lineup.
One of the biggest highlights of this announcement is the appointment of Ikeda Teresa as the center for a Nogizaka46 main single for the very first time.
Her selection marks a significant milestone in her career and signals a fresh direction for the group’s evolving lineup.
The new senbatsu includes returning members such as Tomisato Nao, Hayashi Runa, Tamura Mayu, and Ioki Mao.
- Row 3: Tsutsui Ayame, Ogawa Aya, Yumiki Nao, Sugawara Satsuki, Tomisato Nao, Hayashi Runa, Tamura Mayu
- Row 2: Nakanishi Aruno, Umezawa Minami, Inoue Nagi, Kaki Haruka, Kawasaki Sakura, Ichinose Miku
- Row 1: Endo Sakura, Ikeda Teresa (center), Ioki Mao
Meanwhile, Kubo Shiori, Okamoto Hina, Setoguchi Mitsuki, and Yada Moeka are not part of the lineup this time.
This 41st single is also the group’s first release following the graduation of Kubo Shiori, Yakubo Mio, and Matsuo Miyu, ushering in a new chapter for Nogizaka46.
Notably, sixth-generation members have not been included in the main single senbatsu, keeping the spotlight on earlier generations.
In terms of naming, Nogizaka46 has returned to a fully Japanese-language title, something they last did with “Hodoukyou”.
Additionally, there are no first-time senbatsu members in this main single, reflecting a lineup composed of experienced and established members.
