Overseasidol.com — Nogizaka46 has announced enhanced security procedures ahead of its “40th SG Under Live” concerts scheduled to take place at Nippon Budokan from December 19 to 21.
The new measures come in response to a recent attack near the HKT48 Theatre and are intended to ensure the safety of all attendees and staff.
According to the official notice, every concertgoer will be subject to comprehensive checks upon entry, including baggage inspection, metal detector screening, and identity verification.
Due to these procedures, attendees are advised to arrive well in advance, as congestion and longer entry times are expected.
The organizers emphasized that large items cannot be brought into the venue because of limited seating space, and re-entry after admission will not be permitted.
Strict identity checks will be enforced, allowing entry only to ticket holders whose names match a valid, original photo ID.
Ticket transfers are strictly prohibited, even among family members or friends, and anyone unable to verify their identity will be denied entry without a refund.
Starting from October 2025, identity verification rules have been further tightened, with only one designated form of official photo identification accepted.
Items such as student IDs, documents without photos, copies, screenshots, expired IDs, or digital displays will not be recognized.
The organizers also warned that identity fraud or lending official documents is a criminal offense and will be reported to the authorities if detected.
Additional regulations have been introduced to maintain order and comfort inside the venue. Gifts, flower arrangements, banners, and letters addressed to members are not allowed.
Restrictions also apply to glow sticks, alcohol consumption, and the use of stepping stools or standing on seats.
After the concert, attendees will be guided to exit in stages to prevent crowding and ensure safety.
The organizers concluded by stressing that a safe and pleasant concert environment depends on the cooperation of all attendees, urging fans to follow the rules and instructions so that the event can proceed smoothly and securely.
