Overseasidol.com — Chinese entertainment company Yuehua Entertainment has announced a proposal to grant share-based incentives to popular artist Wang Yibo in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the group’s business performance.
The plan was disclosed in an official board letter released on March 25.
According to the statement, the company intends to conditionally award restricted share units to Wang Yibo under its 2026 share incentive scheme.
The initiative is designed to reward his achievements while ensuring a stable and sustainable long-term collaboration between the artist and the company.
Under the proposal, Wang Yibo would be granted a total of 12.5 million restricted share units, representing approximately 1.51 percent of the company’s total issued shares.
Since the proposed allocation exceeds the individual cap set under the 2026 incentive plan, the award will require approval from shareholders at a general meeting before it can take effect.
The board emphasized that retaining Wang Yibo is expected to bring greater long-term stability and performance benefits to the company, outweighing the relatively minor dilution impact on minority shareholders.
The move is therefore viewed as aligning with the broader interests of all shareholders and the company’s long-term strategic development in the entertainment industry.
