Legendary filmmaker and actor Stephen Chow shared his thoughts on returning to acting during the “Main Cast, Please Speak Up” livestream with Dong Yuhui on July 29.
He was joined by Lam Tze Chung and Hu Yuan to promote the latest film Kung Fu Soccer.
Although Stephen Chow only appeared in the film’s ending cameo through a back-view shot, the brief appearance excited many fans and sparked discussions about a possible return to the big screen.
When asked whether he plans to act again, Stephen Chow said he does not currently have a strong desire to return in front of the camera.
He explained that he is still waiting for a role that truly feels right.
Speaking about acting, Chow humbly admitted that he has never considered himself someone who understands acting techniques deeply.
