Stephen Chow’s sports comedy Kung Fu Soccer continues its remarkable run at the Chinese box office.
On July 28, 2026, the film reached a major milestone by surpassing 2 billion yuan in total ticket sales after 18 days in theaters since its July 11 release.
The achievement allows Kung Fu Soccer to overtake A Letter to Grandma, making it the second highest-grossing film in China in 2026.
It has also entered the Top 43 highest-grossing films in Chinese box office history.
